Where a watch would go if I had one.
There are plenty of pretty watches out there, but I never really fancied wearing one. I'm considering getting a smart watch, but I'm not sure the current crop is worth it. Maybe the next gen will have better battery life, look sleeker and be more competent.

Some days ago I discovered slide rule watches.
I want one, but they're damn expensive - a short search brought up a 2500€ secondhand one, but there's only one company that consistently produce them and they cost at least 10000€.

Hehe, I'm just about ready to sell most of mine for a big purchase as well. Currently drooling over a citizen F200 sattelite wave limited edition. Don't have the model handy but i'll come back with a pic.
Send me a link with your sale thread when it's up, maybe I'll get derailed
P.S. no clue what you plan to buy

I thought about keyboards but you don't sell omega's to buy them unless you're looking at the 3000$ nixie boards currently on ebay

That Citizen is really cool but that Seiko owns it with it hands and recessed crown.
Wow seamaster!! and now thinking about your nick, does it means sea beard or whiskers maybe?
Mattr, doesn't it not only remind the eighties but as well the early 20th with that Bauhaus like dial? A time travel into a time travel

The case of my retro (not vintage) Casio broke. Shoddy chromed plastic instead of metal.

Yup not fan of gold looking watches myself, but a seamaster nevertheless!
Hey gogus, that little buddy is surely smiling By the position of the ears you can bet he's awaiting the next head scratching petting session. Now as this thread has derailed the right way it needs the badge! and if there is one thing cats aren't good at it is computer graphics.

She actually sleeps like this.
Got a great deal on a Citizen Independent 1481010 . Don't see myself wearing it much but there's something about it that ticks for me.

Actually up top are the hours, the white hand shows the minutes and the triangle are the seconds.
Annoys me to no end that 99% of jump hour watches turn the wrong way (they should go counter-clockwise instead of clockwise) so in my pic the time is 12:14.
