Beat me to the post. At least they could include free shipping. I messaged the seller and received this response:
"Honestly, I post at high prices because I enjoy reading love notes from keyboard kids.
Anyone is free to "Make an Offer", and as this was just listed, the price is intentionally high as to not undersell, and will be adjusted as needed."

It's not even perfect. It's missing the manual and has a broken tab for the manual holder. I could maybe see closer to that price if it was NIB or something but $4k is just absurd.

Excuse me, are keyboard people MENTAL with almost 5000 american dollars?
I can think of many good things you can spend that money on. You can buy a buckling spring keyboard, and still have money left for other things, like renting a small living space.

$4000 is over two months of rent in one of the most expensive cities in the US. With that money I could pay off the rest of my car.

That's what I'm saying! What is more important to you: having a roof over your head or having some old keyboard?Blaise170 wrote: ↑$4000 is over two months of rent in one of the most expensive cities in the US. With that money I could pay off the rest of my car.

Anyway, the point is, you are very dumb if you buy it for 5k. And the seller (among MANY other ones on ebay) is very cash hungry and most importantly, a Jerk for selling it for this much.

I don't think stickers make an XT worth $250. It does look very clean, but again, not worth $250 IMO.

Nice deal on an NEC APC-H412. Missing a key cap, doesn't look too bad otherwise:

It's theoretically possible that someone switched out the switches at some point in the board's history.//gainsborough wrote: ↑https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Leadin ... 1438.l2649

yeah i had thought too. I also considered the possibility that those two switches were replaced at some point in the boards life - but the probability of that happening to the exact two switches he/she pulled seems like it would be crazy low.
