Look closer. It is a Tandy 3000 keyboard. But the seller refuses to negotiate on price or to lift a key to confirm the switches.

Oi it's not Peerless, but I wasn't wrong about it being Fujitsu based. It's a gen 3 leaf spring board, though $150 is still massively overpriced on it. I can tell it's Fujitsu based on the LED cutouts.

EDIT: On mobile and something got fucked up with my formatting so removing all the quotes.
If someone is considering picking one up, hit me up. I have an identical looking Epson with 3rd Gen FLS switches that looks identical. Thick fucking caps on it too!
Also my favorite linear switches by far!

Let this be a reminder to everyone disgruntled about beamspring prices. You sometimes luck out and don't have to spend thousands of dollars for one.

PS: no, I'm not the one who saw it in time =/ Someone definitely scored, though!

Yes, cheap lasered pom with heavily off-centered legends on some keys, seems like the icon issues which started with the dyesub sets are still existent

I just missed it. So close that it still showed in the active results even though it was sold//gainsborough wrote: ↑Let this be a reminder to everyone disgruntled about beamspring prices. You sometimes luck out and don't have to spend thousands of dollars for one.

I wonder how much it would have went for if it was an auction. Coolest looking beamspring IMO.//gainsborough wrote: ↑Let this be a reminder to everyone disgruntled about beamspring prices. You sometimes luck out and don't have to spend thousands of dollars for one.

Looks like he realized the mistake and sold it for $750. I'm betting someone offered him that amount so cancelled the first transaction. That's kind of a shady thing to do.Tuntematon wrote: ↑This guy sells a lot of keyboards too, I'm surprised he made that mistake.

Yeah, after cancelling my order and sending me a message quite a while later about how he 'intended $750 instead of $75'. I'm so tired of people being able to weasel out of things on eBay with no consequences. I can't even leave feedback about it because cancelled orders don't allow it.

Could be an honest mistake. He didn't have to sell it for exactly $750, he could have tried for more.

True, but 'honest mistakes' seem to happen far too often on eBay these days. I would think that the seller could have at least apologized profusely for the error on their part and given me the option to buy at the new price (at a discount or something). Instead, all I received was 'sorry for the inconvenience' seconds before it was re-listed.Tuntematon wrote: ↑Could be an honest mistake. EDIT: By the way, the reason they gave eBay for relisting was "Item was out of stock or damaged"

I do hesitate to give him the benefit of the doubt, as I've seen this happen many times before. Sellers willing to fudge it and buyers (including DT members) making sneaky offers.ekeppel wrote: ↑True, but 'honest mistakes' seem to happen far too often on eBay these days. You can leave feedback from cancelled orders, all you need to do is click leave feedback on another item, then navigate to the all feedback page. it will show you all your orders (including cancelled ones) and allow you to leave feedback on them.ekeppel wrote: ↑Yeah, after cancelling my order and sending me a message quite a while later about how he 'intended $750 instead of $75'. Thanks, I forgot that there was a round-about way to leave feedback for transactions like this. I had it bookmarked already too, lol. I remember having to hunt down that page once before after discovering that the regular 'My eBay' >> 'Purchase history' page does not list the feedback option in the drop-down for cancelled transactions.mike52787 wrote: ↑You can leave feedback from cancelled orders, all you need to do is click leave feedback on another item, then navigate to the all feedback page. it will show you all your orders (including cancelled ones) and allow you to leave feedback on them.ekeppel wrote: ↑ Yeah, after cancelling my order and sending me a message quite a while later about how he 'intended $750 instead of $75'. Unfortunately the system won't allow me to leave feedback for at least 7 days, so no instant karma I guess. :-/
