I happen to own a 1390120 and it has a very crispy typing feel to it; it's one of the best Model Ms I've ever used. And I hope yours has the rainbow backplate like mine does too. Enjoy!wobbled wrote: ↑Meh I bought it, was still a very good price, especially since I have some Original IBM caps to stick on it. Plus its a square label!Elrick wrote: ↑You notice, ALL the F1 to F12 numbers are misaligned . Suspect a dodgy effort to sell off a molested Model-M pretending it's unaltered, hence the low price.
Any other Experts want to deny or refute my statement here?

That's actually a good price for here in Australia, simply due to it's shear weight. From the United States I would get smacked at around $180USD Minimum - shipping cost.samuelcable wrote: ↑if the pricing wasn't bad enough the 80 dollar shipping fucks you even moreorihalcon wrote: ↑In case you missed the other 3279 Color Beamspring for $2.5K, this one starts at $3K from the same seller:

Man I just realized that it's missing the IBM logo, which is a total deal breaker. Well that and the monstrous price...orihalcon wrote: ↑In case you missed the other 3279 Color Beamspring for $2.5K, this one starts at $3K from what looks to be the same seller, maybe different username:

If this happens... color me unsurprised. This market surge is much larger than the last one, and alot more volume of these boards have been coming in more often. I don't see an end in this anytime soon.Iggy wrote: ↑Meh, I'm waiting for the beamspring that breaks the 5 grand barrier.y11971alex wrote: ↑https://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-keyboard-3 ... OSwh41atTv~

Wait WHAT
It's a 6511 but it has ACER SWITCHES - goddammit, right when we figured we knew Acer article codes xD . That said, the FCC is 6300 series, though.
Second, I've never seen a black-case 6000 series before, ever. And I've seen a lot of those xD .
Third, it's flipping gorgeous. It's a K-case one, even!

I had one of those back in the day, pretty rare even when new. It matched my black Acer cases, which I'm still using on a couple PCs, but the switches were disappointing and I didn't keep it for long.
edit: here's the beige version complete with documentation if anyone's keeping track of these things:

edit2: oops - note the keyboard doesn't match the (Keytronics) box on the beige one!

There is a white brother of the Goupil-3061 for sale, pretty good condition with Loewe branding, let's see how the bidding war will end. It's a G81-3062 HAD, so maybe these cases are part of a 3060s series.

Holy shit.... I only have 20-25 dollars in my paypal right now and I would like to order these for that Zenith (and maybe do a handwiring build with the original diodes)
not sure of it would be equivlant to the 81 switches I'd need.

Just a heads up. I have a bunch of these and if I recall correctly they are SKCL Cream, not yellows. The colour on the photos are a bit misleading.
I can take some photos tomorrow in better lighting and upload them here.
Still a nice switch though.

Kind of dirty, but a neat board... What kind of keyboard is this? Possibly Alps switches? I'm really digging the Cyrillic caps

Probably, looks like a NTC kb-6251 to me. can't really properly read the label, so no telling if its genuine alps or clones. judging by the condition of that board though... it probably doesnt matter.Nistua wrote: ↑https://www.ebay.com/itm/PC-XT-and-AT-E ... 3573171149
