Kind of dirty, but a neat board... What kind of keyboard is this? Possibly Alps switches? I'm really digging the Cyrillic caps :D
Most probably not mechanical, there would be no room for switches here:

Don't be like that. MOST keyboards can be cleaned up like new, I just personally refuse to clean and use any keyboard with human faeces embedded in it ;) .

I can take some photos tomorrow in better lighting and upload them here.

Still a nice switch though.
Damn it! Those the space bar switches.. . Too late now I guess. Oh well.

Manufacturer is OUTEMU - one of the clone switch manufacturers. Interesting. Haven't heard of an orange one yet.

No they are supposed to be kinda similar to yellows so I think you´re good either way.

However, suddenly I'm not all that sure that I'm right about the series. Looking at it, it´s not yellow, at least nowhere near as yellow as the wiki-image. It's kinda cream-coloured and has a led-recess, very much like the SKCL Cream. But, when taking a picture of it under lamp-light it does look a helluva lot more yellow than it does to the eye. Pretty close to the wiki-image of the SKCL Yellow actually. So maybe they really are yellows and the wiki-image is somewhat misleading. It's also possible that I just discovered that I'm actually colourblind:)Either way, here's an image for comparison. Maybe some alps-guru can shed some light on the situation.

The yellow above looks more like Alps SKCM Amber. Regular yellows are more of a faded yellow, at least the ones I've seen in person. The greens in the pictures on the wiki also look a fair bit brighter than the ones I have in person.

Yes I thought so to. The ambers does not seem to have an topside alps-logo though, which these ones have. Also, the SKCM is a clicky switch is it not? These are non-clicky-linears, It also kinda look like the SKCL ambers, however the do not feel particularity stiff. I guess the real-life description of them could be faded yellow (really, really faded).

They do feel nice, I haven't had the opportunity to build anything with them yet but will definitely use them for something when I have the time. You get a lot of "bang for your buck" regardless of which type it ends up being.

It certainly does not have buckling spring switches which people normally associated with "model F".
No need to be sorry, I posted the same keyboard almost at the same time, after all :)

I´m learning something new everyday in this hobby:)

Do you have any idea if it can be used for a case-swap with a regular XT?

We know, you can't case swap. The F XT is curved whereas this one is flat.

too bad ....

Same for me, I just learned that there is indeed also a buckling spring variant of the XT industrial:
http://clickykeyboards.com/product/ibm- ... 83-key-xt/

This one, though, is the OAK version. The cases are not compatible, I believe. The back plate of the mode F is bend, and the case for this one is straight (look at the piece of plastic between the F-keys and the main key cluster. The curvature is visible there).

An Asian (iirc Korean) viewer recently contacted me that he wanted me to get one and review as he'd recently gotten one and paid a large sum for it. He didn't appear to know anything about the board. I suspect that's why the price of those Oak XT's was recently inflated.

Interesting in the sense that I don't remember seeing any auction with such a disgustingly dirty keyboard. I can only help but wonder how dirty it is inside (and, more worryingly, corroded). I am kinda tempted to buy it anyway, just to give it the cleaning it deserves and then post the pictures of the process.

(and it happens to share its birthday with a close relative of mine, as well)

Someone should buy it and restore it like I did with mine! :D

Ah that is to bad as it looks really neat. I am kinda curious about what price it will end up selling for.

Is this really RAFI hall effect, or is it some clones?

Medical fullsized with what appear to be Fujitsu Peerless switches. Based on the interface it looks like it needs an intermediary box.

If these were Peerless switches, I wouldn't pay $10 for it. However these are Fujitsu leaf spring switches which should prove a nice switch for someone.

Are you sure it isn't a Fujitsu slider over dome? They feel awful. Even worse than peerless.
