Indeed! If I can avoid eBay I'll give the buyer at 10% off the final going price.
P.S. I'm also listing more as we speak so for any interested parties, just let me know.

Is it ULTRA RARE? Or is it EXTRA RARE? Spoiler alert: it's neither.

In all fairness, eBay merchants have even been calling AT101Ws and Model Ms "ultra rare" for a while, it's all just fluff anyway :p .

Wow. Considering how quickly this sold is $2K now the lower limit for a 3278?

Was planning on staying out of this conversation, but a friend was looking for a good condition 3278 for a while at a **relatively** reasonable price. I sent them the link and they jumped on it. This was in their relative price range, so I'd say you could consider this sale an outlier... Kind of.

I guess bank springs are a new alternative to traditional financial investment vehicles

Anyone else who wants to spend $2K on a beamspring, PM me. Can't justify keeping mine at that price. Will actually take $200 off of that for a direct sale as I'd save that over not having a final value fee like I would if I listed on ebay.

I am feeling this as well, I love myne but that's a new car sitting on my desk. I almost sold myne a few months ago but hesitated when these were selling for about 1000$ less.

Here's another for beamspring finds.
No IBM badge 3278 2A Color which is a 3279 as far as I am concerned:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/152980160472
Will it go for a new record of $3.3K with shipping? Best offer is also an option for those looking to get a steal on one

This is the only beamspring I want atm. No way I'd pay $3.3k though.

This was one that "sold" but was relisted. The buyer must have "straightened out" and realized what he did and didn;t follow through with the sale

It is possible that the buyer wanted to troll the actual buyer if there was any, but nobody purchased it, and of course he didn't want to pay for it either.

Yeah, when they see the final Flebay bill everyone wants to leave the restaurant without paying it
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
.
I could see the patrons trying to squeeze out of the Flebay toilet window, in avoiding this immense pain to the wallet.

So where's Chyros because this keyboard is made for him. He could even use it in the background of his produced videos.
He needs some unique set props to help further illuminate his unique brand of mechanical keyboards fetish
