I want to help but I didn't order spare caps and I am also waiting for Round 7 for some caps too.Luna wrote: ↑Nobody here with a spare blue enter and black or violet cursors?
It seems to me some veteran collectors here seemingly having a lot of stuff but they actually do not order duplicate items and tend to optimize what they collect.
The real hope for you can be from the "grab bag" sales from SP, and people who resell them. SP had some yesterday.

Each grab bag from SP is a gamble and kind of a Kinder-surprise-egg - full of left overs from recent manufacturing orders of SP. There are people around the world waiting for the release of these grab bags, trying to buy them out quickly, and then reselling them after sorting them out in smaller and more meaningful patches, and of course, making some profit. I haven't looked into how much they can make out of a few grab bags but I guess it's partly hobby partly evening-out with a small profit perhaps.Luna wrote: ↑Grab bag sale from SP? Something else than the Round5/6 leftovers?
I have not seen much grab bag caps sales in DT, but once 7bit vented that some caps that appeared in random grab bags sales of SP might have make quite a few more of the Round 6 kits complete if SP have sent those caps to him instead.

Yes, multiple times every year, but they are sold out in minutes (often the email from the PMK newsletter arrives after they are sold out).Luna wrote: ↑So they're grab bags from SP themselves and are sold only through Piimpmykeyboard.com as far as I could find?

Wow, that's one fantastic Honeywell keyboard.zslane wrote: ↑I finally finished painting the case top of (one of) my Realforce RGB boards white, and now after two and a half years I finally have my Round 6 Honeywell keyboard:
The key elements that make this "Honeywell" are the tall, spherical caps, the BoW alphas, the all-gray F-row keys (with bits of red), and the all-black numpad. Only 7bit's Round 5/6 kits make this possible. Don't be fooled by any of the other sets out there calling themselves "Honeywell"; they are poor approximations that fall short in nearly all of the above categories.

Today I finished modding my Realforce 87UW55 - I modded it to have a full standard bottom row.
I think this is first mod like that - there were modded boards like this but not a full row.
I did full row and put brand new caps from our friend 7bit, here it is!

On the bottom a Rosewill with round 6 phase 2.
I just wanted to say that the Topre and Rosewill are some of the most beautiful keyboards I've seen on this site so far. It makes me very happy that I decided not to sell my RealForce RGB.zslane wrote: ↑I finally finished painting the case top of (one of) my Realforce RGB boards white, and now after two and a half years I finally have my Round 6 Honeywell keyboard:

After only 2 and a half years my caps finally arrived. I'm not sure if I ever knew what I need that many keycaps for.

Well, for modder like me, it only takes time, as I already know how to operate with files:)
It is a bit time consuming process, boring I would say, but as soon as you start seeing progress is gets easier.
Then final result is priceless.
Till yesterday, I though that modded to 55g and silenced Novatouch is my end game board.
Now, my modded Realforce is end-game keyboard:)
55g RF, standard bottom row, SA keycaps.. mmmm.... best thing EVER!
In next few days I'll get my hands on incoming SA Carbon set:D

I wish I had a Duck key on my Model M! Isn't there a 3D printable adapter you could use to adapt this to BS?

Invested too heavily in Honeywell to get all the Cadet mods I needed, but Dancer helped fill it out the alphas pretty well I think.

HoneyDox? ErgoWell? (hahah - erg oh well!)
These look great if you don't look too closely. I have some quality quibbles (no more SP - I've had 3 for 3 sets with quality issues, and what do they use to remove the sprues, gravel?)
All said, it's a very pretty set - the colors are outstanding.

Finally, the day has come when I can post something meaningful here! I hadn't designed the Katana60 layout when I ordered my kits, and I've ordered a couple of extra caps to get a better coverage. However this looks perfectly reasonable for the time being.
