Oh nice!! How are you liking the /dev/tty caps? Do they go nicely along with Topre?Iggy wrote: ↑ My RealForce RGB.

May I ask where you bought that set?Iggy wrote: ↑The combination is great, they feel better than the HiPro key-caps (although they're the same material, if I'm not mistaken).

That set was twice on Massdrop. Developed by matt3o. It uses a new profile called MT3, said to have been heavily inspired in IBM beamspring Keycaps.

You know I've been a member for well over a year now, and I've never actually posted any of my keyboards. I guess I'll change that today

Is that an Alps plate-spring IBM? I used one of Orihalcon's for a bit when I proxied some stuff to him, but didn't like them very much.

yes it is. I actually have the whole system with the carrying bag and accessories, but I need to change some of the capacitors on the graphics card since the screen randomly turns off. the thing is pretty heavy, but that's why they call it a luggable

TX60, cleaned and lubed 57g MX linear, sandblasted WoB keycaps + some HHKB keys.
NerD PCB flashed with TMK.
I played around with the L3 Finger60 a bit as well, turns out the 32a seems to work with TMK VUSB. Xauser had done the work for most L3 PCBs already. (github)
Bit torn on the switches, some were worse than others in this batch, I might replace them with retooled ones some day so I don't have to worry about it. I did replace a few bad offenders though, no clue why some decided to be scratchy.

They do but this one I manually carved out a space for the trackpoint by using a sharp office cutter, a file and then clean it a bit up with a lighter.wobbled wrote: ↑Does the trackpoint get in the way when typing since those are just standard mx caps and not modified to fit a trackpoint?

Look what came in the mail today. I have to say I knew the F107s were heavy, but when it's in person it's a whole different story.
My model Ms are in a whole different tier when compared to it

Nice, where did you find it?
I would love to have the original connector for the F107.
If you intend to mod it with the xwhatsit controller and you don't know what to do with the connector, please PM me

That F107 is awesome, I hope you get it fully restored and converted, be sure to update this thread when you do
Also what grey cable is that on the TKL mike?
Not ashamed these three boards are the only ones I'm using nowadays, and they are all topre.
white hhkb has OG BKE domes, Black HHKB is a 55g hipro, and the plum has genuine topre 45g domes and matt3o dev tty keycaps I may not get to post in here for a while since these three seem to have satisfied me for now. Unless a Kishshaver feels like appearing out of nowhere.

That black zenith badge is absolutely stunning. You should mend the coiled cable though. Feed a cable through the coils then tie a knot on the end so the coils stay tightly together, then heat up the cable. Once it cools down again the coils should stay in form. Thats if you're as OCD as me

The Wildcats board is really special to me because it was my favorite sports team growing up. Unicomp still sells both blue on white alphas as well as blue modifiers if you want to build it yourself, it just won't have the Kentucky icons on it. Apparently Unicomp hasn't changed their dyes in 20 years, the F1 key was missing and I just got my replacement yesterday. I special ordered it with "dark blue" and PANIC and it matches perfectly (other than the black dye compared to the white legends of the others.
