I have been exchanging emails with Marcin Wichary https://aresluna.org since June 2017. He had some very thoughtful questions about model M keyboards and we were happy to share our expertise, experiences, and anecdotes.

It is always good to work with good storytellers who are careful about their craft and who take the necessary time to do the background research properly.

Glad to see his project developing and looking forward to the final published book project.

He's good people. He has an "I don't know how many hundred post thread" in his twitter feed regarding keyboards and strange things he found while travelling in Japan.

It starts with an ATM with a mechanical keyboard, meanders by Japanese toilets (which are lifechanging btw), and finishes with - well, I don't remember... but it was awesome.
