Talk about interesting keycaps. I am not sure if they are ugly, or gorgeous, and because of that confusion, I would build a keyboard with such a keycap profile in a second if I could...

Tell me about it. I'd be all over one of those HP 85s if it had something better than Hi-Teks in it.

My god, especially when they're dusty like that, Hi-Teks are absolutely ATROCIOUS in my experience xD .

Is this a Model F or are my eyes fooling me?

Edit: Click to see the un-flipped version.

It's a model f xt. The rows are sloped and the keys are slightly offset too much to the right in comparison to the hole in the top shell.

How about this one? Seems to be very similar IMO.

No, just a standard KT rubber dome, no slider. That model is fairly common. Some people praise KT rubber domes, but I'm not one of them.

Thanks for helping out, I appreciate it!

Feel wise I'd say that it's not horrible, wouldn't personally praise it (my board is fairly worn and dirty, which could impact feel I suppose). Quite decent tactility, and comparing it to standard rubber domes commonly available, it's an improvement for sure.

I was just curious about what I dug up, no plans on ever looking at it again. :)

Some KT rubber dome models are quite tactile and distinct when bottoming out but there are lots that feel very bad,
I don't know if anybody has bothered to catalogue which ones are good and and which ones are not.

The Ergo Force is the one to have. Different force on different keys (depending on finger, if you touch-type) and always tactile and distinct bottoming out. Grounded space bar. Looks like the one posted except for top and bottom labels showing "Ergo Force".

The prices for old Key Tronic keyboards on Swedish sites is much inflated IMO. They cost like €30 new back in the day but sell for €100 now. Maybe the one posted was on Tradera, which happens to be down for maintenance right now so I can't comment on that.

Hey lads,

Need help identifying these keyboards / deciding how much to offer the seller for them. Please comment on anything pictured except the ones not marked with a green slash in the picture with five keyboards (I know what those are - two IBM Model F XT and a Chicony RD).

Many thanks!

Top IBM boards looks Model F-y, but can I tell for sure? That Epson anyone? I read a vague guess somewhere that it might have Fujitsu leaf springs. The Commodore should be Cherry made, vintage blacks, I'm guessing.

Thanks again.
