Can anyone say how forgiving the 7bot is? My bank transfer did not go through, and now my unpaid order is over a month old. Should I cancel my existing order and create a new order for the same keys? Or can I use the old order number on my second (and hopefully correct) bank transfer?

I'd say just transfer the money again, unless 7bit explicitly announces that he'll cancel older orders he won't cancel them, regardless of how old they are.

Your 4-digit order number remains the same forever pretty much. It isn't really ever canceled, if anything 7bit removes the kits from your order. Just wire again with that number for reference and it'll be credited towards your account.

I'm new to this group buy stuff, so I have a few questions about it (specifically round 7).
Are orders for round 7 still open? From what I've seen it looks like they are, but I'm having trouble finding a concrete answer.
I saw some posts about money from round 7 financing round 6 phase 2 shipping and such, has that been resolved?
If I can/do put in an order, when can I expect it to ship?

Round 7 will be open for many months to come. As far as I know, the first round of keycaps (Violet and cream) do not even have a manufacturing date, so anything you order today probably won't even get made this year, and won't ship until, god knows when. As a point of reference, Round 6 took 2.5 years from the time I first began ordering to when I received my last package from Berlin.

I am not familiar with the 7bit group buys and trying to understand what kits I would want to buy should I choose to join. I see the sets like ALGOL/SIXTYBASE/RGB/GREY for example have the modifiers I would need for a 60% board, but I do not see a kit that is just the alphanumerics. The price of that kit alone is too low to include the alphas, but the only ones with alphas seem to be full kits (based on the pictures). What am I missing here?
UPDATE: never mind, some of the images weren't loading and I see what I need now

Same here, I would really like my money back. 7bit hasn't replied to any of my PMs since late september last year.
EDIT: Just got a reply from 7bit

Still finding it silly the black/cream sets aren't offered.
I'll think I'll go for gray/cream instead of violett cream instead.
Anyone has an idea when would be a good time to order those?

Has round 6 phase 2 all shipped out? Has everyone gotten refunds for round 6/7 that wanted them?
I wanna jump in on violet cream but wondering where everyone else stands.

You should be excited. 7bit must have reevaluated the group buy and then issued a new target for Round 7. This is progress.fireworm wrote: ↑What's up with the Oct 31 2018 deadline?

Anyone have any theories as to why the numbers on the ASCII kits are so low? Seems like that is one of the signature aspects of this set and they look so good. Do people just have burnout on the novelty of dual legends?
