Unitek K 156. Has either mx blue or linear Taiwan jet axis mx clones, crappy pad printed caps too. http://kbd.rzw.jp/mechanical/senco_dkw67mk-156/Keybug wrote: ↑Haven't seen one like this before. What might it be? Alpsy caps? Thanks!

Probably Keytronic Foam & Foil based on the LED cutouts. Could be something else though.

Yep, that's it! Cheers mate. Looks like some of the variants have what might be MX-compatible keycaps, so I fear for the fate of that board..Noobmaen wrote: ↑wiki/Control_Data_721risk23 wrote: ↑Saw this on fleebay, couldn't quite place it, but the caps look sexy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-KEYBOA ... 663.l10137

Does anyone have an inkling what the caps on this laptop might be? They have an elegant colorway, but I fear they may be pad printed or thin DS. Maybe some owns some of the same kind or can tell from the pic... Thanks

Yes, the 3100 caps look similar in a Dolchy way, but they're ALPS mount, so maybe not that closely related? I reckon the ones on this laptop are doubleshots, too, though.

If any manufacturer TODAY could copy this style of keyboard with those key-caps I would lay down my money on it, quicker than a Dingo licking his own balls .risk23 wrote: ↑Saw this on fleebay, couldn't quite place it, but the caps look sexy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-KEYBOA ... 663.l10137
It's just one of the BEST looking keyboards that looks to be built like a Tank, which we here on DT desperately need.

This has a Fujitsu ICL label. Does anyone know what's inside? Looks a little domey due to the narrow case and steep curve, but the caps look very similar to my Epson Q203A, which is a "leaf spring 4th generation". (I wonder if I'll ever have the heart to break it to get at the springs for photos.) Thanks!

I never had a chance to try Rafi's hall effect switches, but here is what foxtrott has to say.Niko1U wrote: ↑looks like the same keyboard to me, thanks! are the switches good?xxhellfirexx wrote: ↑Could be a hall effect keyboard.Niko1U wrote: ↑ please help, found on ebay

I did have a chance though to try Rafi's RS 76 M switches, which are the metal contact versions of the same switches, and I do agree with him. The switches are smooth and moderately stiff.foxtrott wrote: ↑ Switch is Rafi. .. feels like MX Red.. but... but better.. smoother.
enter and space have a harder spring, almost like black.

I have a NIB RAFI B7 with the mechanical RS 76 M switches and imo they are pretty scratchy. The RS 76 C in my military keyboard are very smooth, but have an unpleasantly stiff weighting.
I was hoping this RS 76 C keyboard would stay undetected since I was looking to buy it, maybe we can make an agreement so that we don't bid against eachother

Haven't seen anything like that. I understand that a wavefront analyzer evaluates the "visual performance" of the eye, so it may even be a proprietary switch.
Anyway, it sure looks good!
Does it feel nice though?

Big helical spring under the slider... some kind of foam and foil? (Though I couldn't find a match on the wiki)
Edit: see the answer two posts below.

Such rarity needs confirmation and certainty, in our current world of Fake and Duplicity.

Probably bad form answering my own question, but here goes anyway. The FCC id of D7P6QV0001 that I found on the same listing points to Oak. The switches look very much like the switches Oak used on the IBM Industrial XT keyboards, except the ones on the IBM are white and these are gray. So it looks like they're Oak Full Travel Membrane switches.risk23 wrote: ↑Any ideas on what the switches are in this one? Never seen anything like them before.. looks like RD FF of some sort

You can buy it, since i don't have the space for it in the moment (living with my parents). I just wanted to know what it was, because there was no branding.Noobmaen wrote: ↑I have a NIB RAFI B7 with the mechanical RS 76 M switches and imo they are pretty scratchy. Did space invaders have the same red circle LEDs like Keytronic had? That's usually what tips me off to F&F.
