Erase-Ease.

Supposedly NMB was the highest volume keyboard manufacturer in the world in 1995? Mind, the press release talks about rubberdome keyboards so don’t mistake such claims for a forgotten Space Invader armada!

Tbh, I'm not surprised. They did shift an ENORMOUS amount of boards at the time, and this is right around the time IBM started slacking. Alps had decreased output a lot as well.

But mostly domes, right? Space invaders aren’t rare but they’re surely no more abundant than Alps, far as I’ve observed.

Definitely. They made tons of both over the years, although for example the Dell QuietKey alone is a huge volume. Definitely around that time, the bulk of their stuff was rubber, for sure.

I think it's important to note that unlike Alps, Space Invaders were never cloned (that I know of).

The more people post that board, the more I get pissed at myself lmao. The listing originally didn't have the blue alps picture in it, but I knew it was something good. Korean alps boards are always an exclamation mark for me. I wasn't entirely sure if this was blue alps or not, so I asked the seller for a picture of the switches, just to be sure. The seller added the picture to the listing. And now there's 24 watchers, and already multiple bids...

God damn it.

Tbh I always wonder why people don't realize that people are interested in eg switches, the label or stuff like that. If I would get asked such stuff I would always add it to the description. But sometimes you get good deals due to that, like the F122 auction that ended for like 120$ this week

I assume some people don't think it matters and/or don't want to risk breaking things by taking them apart.

In case anyone around here cares about absolute comfort:

Hmm, yes, I realised that as well. Still, private proxy could avoid customs fees.

I found a chinese dealer is selling dozens of Alcatel MMK keysets. New old stock, made by Cherry (or GMK).
158 Yuan for one full set.
Or 100 Yuan/ea if you take them all (about 45 sets).
Very cheap price!!!
Link can't be opened outside China, but you can find that seller if you have '闲鱼' APP.

some keys are not normal size, such as backspace, enter.
