Just picked up an IBM/Lexmark Model M15 ergo keyboard today, mainly because it was cheap and really strange. Anyone know what these are worth or how rare they are? It has some stuck key but overall is really nice. Pictures will be coming soon.

Congratulations. :)

Here's an earlier discussion about its value:

Does anyone know what's a good price for a used IBM Model M15?
I may be able to get one, but I don't know what a good price is. :|

An arm. Maybe throw in a leg as well.

Kidney... i would kill for one...

Maybe $600 and up, but those are old numbers and things change with trends.
For a collector's item condition is important. The ball joint could get a lot of stress and it is important that it is not cracked.
The keycaps that are unique to this keyboard should be included, and intact. The others could be replaced from a (much cheaper) IBM Model M2.

A stuck key is possibly a bent spring (which happens easily on the M2, if you pull a key and do not put it back properly). The spring would have to be repaired, and those are not rare. I don't know how easy it is to open it up... I wouldn't dare myself without first reading more about it.
There should be a "chopstick method" to seat a spring from the top...

Well I paid $80 for it. Looks almost brand new, the knob is slightly yellowed though. If they're that rare I think I'll probably sell it to someone who's more into keyboards than me. I like a good buckling spring but I don't think I really want something that valuable sitting around lol. Looks like the backspace, I, N, left left arrow, Z, C, V, and T keys are stuck.

After taking off the keycaps and reinstalling them, my m15 now works flawlessly. I'm actually typing this on it right now!

I wasn't planning on flipping it but I thought it was just an oddball keyboard. I had no idea they were that rare!

Seemed to me like you were selling, but even better if you are keeping it, its an awesome board ;)

I'm absolutely selling, I like it a lot but I can't warrant keeping something that valuable around, especially since I'm a broke college kid! Just posted it in the marketplace actually!
