Did they ever release the original Apple Extended Keyboard in the EU, or was it US-only? I’ve never seen one of the originals on eBay…

I have one. I have to check, but I think it's an AZERTY layout.
And I agree, Extended Keyboard II are far more common.

Nice to know that they *did* make it over here, but they appear to be as rare as hen’s teeth: in 2+ years of having an active feed on eBay, I haven’t once seen one come up for sale. I managed to get a NIB AEKII just the other day, so I think I’ll probably just stick to the second model after all. Unless you want to sell me the original for a song?
