Cuz if they are, they should like, sell it through DT for $405 instead of giving eBay a 10% fee (':xicanoink wrote: ↑28 Jun 2019, 21:49Is somebody here trying to sell their Gold Badge Northgate?

From the keycaps and the pink leds it should have Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches, but I'm not 100% sureeXeP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 12:21https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/q272510774

It looks like it sat in the exact same position, exposed to the sun at a specific angle for years! Look at the yellowing pattern on the keycaps. Very interesting.CL4P-TP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 12:26From the keycaps and the pink leds it should have Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches, but I'm not 100% sureeXeP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 12:21https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/q272510774

You're right, they don't, the pingy monsters! Mine sounded too unpleasant plus the width of the split didn't agree with me. I do love their overall design / shape, though, hence it's been my avatar pic here for ages (together with its quite rare sidekick numpad - I'd love to collect one of those...).

Interesting Unsaver-style Nokia Data 9140-7001 KBU keyboard for sale on the Swedish auction site Tradera. It uses Ericsson RMD 973 switches, see wiki: wiki/Ericsson_RMD_973_series

I bought one of these from the same seller a few months ago. It has some sort of dome with slider switch I haven't seen anywhere else. It's very snappy and feels pretty nice, but kinda heavy. It has nice doubleshot keycaps, but they're kinda thin.Hak Foo wrote: ↑07 Jul 2019, 08:42https://www.ebay.com/itm/183705218962

Tandon 286 laptop, screams ALPS to me, but so far no nudie shot from seller. Unless he delivers, I'd consider it for maybe half the price...

I... uhhh... yes? It totally seems to be. Made in the UK (that looks like a first), and with dual Greek keycaps (not that suprising, given the seller seems to be Greek). Only the date (28-03-1996) looks to be a bit weird.

anyone here snag it? That price, while insane for one keyboard, seemed good for what it is.

Yeah and he seems to be selling them off rather than acquiring more. I think maybe he hit endgame and lost interest perhaps.depletedvespene wrote: ↑10 Jul 2019, 03:34Perhaps, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the duubt.
