Acutally, I've been thinking just that a lot for the last half year or so. Kleinanzeigen, too. Maybe a sort of critical moment has come where most of the remaining interesting vintage keyboards are already in the hands of collectors and laypeople have practically run out...

Couldn't agree more. Stock definitely seems to be drying out. I guess its now going to come down to trades....

In the "interesting" category (for me at least...):
A Remington-made Blickensderfer typewriter with a type of Swedish version of Blickensderfer's symmetric "Scientific Key-Board" layout. It must have been manufactured approx ~115 years ago.
I have definitely not seen this layout before, and I find it unlikely that I will ever see it again, knowing the rarity of these typewriters. (Of course, it is added to the Wiki already)

Totally a ripoff for a not so well built keyboard with garbage caps(mine have pad printed thin abs). You can get these from China no more than 80 as low as 15. Guess the condition justified the price?

not to start any drama about anything, but that exact M keypad was sold on goodwill's auction site recently for way less that what the seller is now asking for on ebay. They're a very blatantly flipping, and for a ridiculous amount at that. Don't give them any money.

Yes it should be, I picked one up a while back:

I think I paid about $20. Though this one looks really nice, the asking price of $210 is way out of line IMO.

Well-thumbed KB-101A. I was thinking about dropping by - I never had blue Alps under my wrists. But honestly - maybe I just try to forget about it. The wording in this offer feels weird: reason for disposal: herewith I sell a keyboard from Acer brand (really?? I think he is serious about it)

Three Acer KB-102AS are up on German eBay, at least one with photo-confirmed blue ALPS. Pretty well yellowed, though...

I have bought one of these and wondered about the differences of the labels on the back. On all three labels the model no. "KB-102AS" can be seen, but their serial numbers are significantly different in their beginning. 2 of them start with "MK102..." and one is starting with "S102...-J". Does this indicate the used switch, i.e. white or blue ALPS switches?

BTW: blue ALPS Focus board?
