Just came across this board on eBay:

It looks a lot like the 107 key model F but is missing the F row and apparently uses Alps SKCC switches. Has anyone here seen or had any experience with this board before?

Ahh thank you! Forgot I had seen it in one of Thomas's reviews. I guess the Japanese caps and lack of literature threw me off!

Here is some french auction that I cannot identify : 
It supposed to be a Nixdorf keyboard. All the pictures are from the same board.

It's a Fujitsu-made terminal keyboard, should have leaf springs, I reckon.

Some years ago, we noted a bunch of eBay listings for Micro Switch keyboards from Canada. For instance, here is an archive of one, sold as from a Burroughs machine.

I have one like that on the pending pile.

So I spent some time trying to find out more about it. No surprise, but it isn't from any Burroughs at all. It's from an AES Data Ltd. 103 Word Processor. AES was in Montreal, so there's the Canadian connection.

With minimal rebranding, this was sold in the States by Lanier as the No Problem Word Processor. Here is a clear photo of the keyboard from one of those in the Carter Presidential Library.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that's actually going to help figure out the keyboard protocol or anything like that. But in case anyone else has one and wondered about it.

Got the board without more couple days ago.

In my first thought, its a 5251 beam spring or some kinda variant, but now I know it's not. Its much shorter than a nornal 77-key beam, more like being from a nondetachable device with case gone, so anybody here could give some help for identifying? Thanks in advance.

You could just move all the modules into a 5251 case. There's been enough of them floating around.

I think this is rubber dome. Heavy as a mechanical but it was delivered and wasn't able to open it yet.

Unable to find much online or on the wiki. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Has anybody seen this kind of keyboard? It has an Alphameric brand label on the back with no model number. It also has a 5-pin DIN and does not work on an XT based computer.

Nope. I first thought it was an unusual variation of the LK201, but then I found this thread of XMIT which shows a closer match.
The keycap and case design style is very close, down to the cable gutter... but the original LK201 has cylindrical feet, and this one has flip-out feet. "uninteresting linear slider-over-membrane" though.

Hi all!

I've been on a bit of a wild goose chase for the past few weeks trying to identify a much beloved keyboard of mine that I miss dearly. I'm hoping that someone here might be able to help point me in the right direction.

At the last place I worked, I had an amazing keyboard. I don't know much about keyboards / switches / etc (apart from what I've hastily tried to learn over the last few weeks) so I'm not sure how to describe what I liked about it so much other than that it was very tactile and the keys were comfortingly deep.

When I left, I thought about trying to take it with me, but I didn't get a chance. None of the keyboards at my new job have ever lived up to it and I think about my old keyboard often.

All I have left is this poor quality image (that I managed to find in the background of another photo):

I know that it's a terrible photo and might not be enough to go on, but any suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Even if it's just to tell me that this is a lost cause!

If I could find the same model, that would be amazing, but I would be just as happy to get some leads on similar keyboards, or even suggestions on how I might put together something similar.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, but the label that can be seen on the keyboard says "News International", which is the parent company of the place I worked at (a national newspaper). It makes me think that either the keyboard was custom made, or the model was just branded for them?
