Not much wiggle room for the gold label, maybe a trick of the lighting? What bothers me more is the "ATT 6300" hand written on the back. Those computers were built by Olivetti and used a special keyboard with a 9 pin D-sub. The Gen 2&3 Northgates had dipswitch support for the 6300; more than just a pin adapter for the cable.
edit: a bit of reading suggests that the ATT 6300 keyboard ran on 12 volts, so perhaps this was internally modified (added 5 volt reg) to work on that machine? (...or plugged into 12 volts and burnt up inside?) It would also need a pin adapter, and if I remember correctly the 6300 was only partially BIOS-compatible with the XT. "For parts" is probably for a good reason.

No clue about the keyboard, but that Hirschmann MES 160 is an unusual choice.

Although I am rather agnostic about purity and keycaps, I will say that the Model M function keys with alternating colors look lame and that Wheelwriter typewriter keys are particularly well-made and good-feeling.

Even though these are rarer now, paying more than $200 for one feels excessive. Especially one with modifications that might not be preferred by many.Rauha wrote: ↑23 Jan 2020, 18:55Model F Battleship for great and totally reasonable price of $2500.

Definitely true, considering most of them come from the USA. So what migth have looked like a fair bargain to my eyes, then turned into a bad dream with custom fees and shipping costs to EU that practically doubled my expenses. (250$x2)... Never regret though. F is F and 122 includes all of them.Redmaus wrote: ↑26 Jan 2020, 07:46Even though these are rarer now, paying more than $200 for one feels excessive.
