Are Alps SKBL Black very common? I got some Black Alps from Taobao and most of them don't have tactile leaves.

That Zenith is a beauty!
Here's one I got the other day and cleaned up (case had some scuffs and it was pretty dirty from storage and the metal logo was coming off).
Arche branded Chicony 5182 with white SKCM.

I just get this :
3 AEK Azerty ISO white dampened
4 AEK Qwerty ANSI cream dampened
2 ASK ISO salmon alps
BTW I have a theory about cream / white dampened. Seem's that all my French board got White dampened and all my Qwerty board got Cream.
What is the rule for others country ?

My experience was that the 1989 copyright AEK2 was salmon, the 1990 copyrights were dampened cream, and 1995 copyrights were dampened white, but my sample group was not large.

NEC 'Bigfoot'/'AT-101'. ALPS branding on the PCB, ALPS style doubleshots for grey/white keys other than number pad, similar to those on the NEC APC 412 Blue oval boards. Coloured keys and numpad looks to be pad printed. Clicky white Alps with slits. Model is SA902A-CAC KB and date on the label is May 1990

Those caps are great...interested in selling them?

Not at the moment, plus I'm in Aus so the shipping would likely be pretty bad, but give me a message as I do need to clear out/sell some stuff soon.
I did try making them ANSI with a couple of SGI dyesubs, but unfortunately the different fonts, colours and keycap shapes didn't really work that well together.

Alright, lmk. Those colourful caps are awesome, and the grey ones are pretty cool, too.4_404 wrote: ↑18 Mar 2020, 00:34Not at the moment, plus I'm in Aus so the shipping would likely be pretty bad, but give me a message as I do need to clear out/sell some stuff soon.

Thanks! Supposedly it's from a New Zealand telecom company. I didn't know where were 'bigfoot' boards with BAE or clicky Alps. Assumed they were white damped until I tried them. The tops of the caps are also extrtraordinarily thick; a couple of the modifiers seem to be at least 3-4mm of solid plastic (not sure what that is in imperial units). It's in great condition as well.

Yesterday I finished replacing the original switch tops (top housing, slider, spring, and click leaf) in my Omnikey 101 with NOS pine white ones.
The originals were maybe 7/10 after years of use so I'm going to clean and keep them for the next project.
With the new switches, I'm reminded why this has been my favourite keyboard over so many years.

Is this the right place to post this?
Found this in the attic, and was sent over here from geekhack.org, heard you guys like these.
I dont know if it works, I ordered the adapter to put it in the pc to see if it works.
The ENTER key is a bit mushy idk if its dirty or if the key is damaged, I can post a video if anyone wants.
