I'll refrain on commenting about the layout problems this (admitedly cool) thing has, but I WILL note that the 6^ key is duplicated... while the B key is NOT. Don't let the Alice-lovers find out about this!John Doe wrote: ↑05 May 2020, 16:23https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3865459074

Maltron does in-house laser-etching IIRC, although these seem to have too good contrast for that.

Interesting character generator keyboard, colorful caps, but I'm guessing the switches are something along the lines of foam and foil.

Two revs of ITW/Cortron 80-551646:
Rev A: https://www.ebay.com/itm/392797912706, the dark one.
Rev C: https://www.ebay.com/itm/193449295181, the light one.
The first looks to have five replacement keycaps, but they otherwise match.
This layout has two ! legends! One on a key with four legends, so I suppose that's all the combinations of SHIFT and CODE? The other on a key with five! So I have no idea how to type ±!
The second board looks like one XMIT had; maybe it's even the same one.

Blue Alps models, don't have STAFF in the model name.

Is that exclusive to the k2AX? I was able to find one picture of a counter example, but it's a K101 board. I think e3e has a k9AX with STAFF in the name as well, but i'm not sure.

I don't know exactly what "Staff" means on the Monterey boards, but I don't think you can use that to predict which switches one uses.
In the database of Monterey keyboards I have eight K2AX boards on record. Four have blue Alps SKCM, two have Mitsumi MX mount, and two don't have a switch type listed. (None of those are identified as Staff...)
As far as Staff branding goes I have a K8AX listed (unknown switches), a K101 (blue SKCM), and three K102s (1 each, green SKCL, blue SKCM, and unknown).

Any guess about the switches used?
