I paid 70 for mine and I ravaged the old controller and cable out of it. It was my second model F after the XT. But it's still the only keyboard with a functional solenoid. This board was also the first board I tried the cypress controller on, and was also the test board for the relay and boost converter POC for powering the solenoid.

Are you able to remap keys with cypress controller. I'd be curious to give it a try.

Use our new universal model F/beamspring controller with QMK firmware with full remap options. I wouldn't recommend cypress, the amount of effort needed to configure the board is way too much.

The missing 3 and 8 keys on the first one really quadruple the value with all the extra character the board has now.

The main reason I posted it was because it looks like the seller is willing to let it go for as low as $150 with the best offer option, and I thought an SSK for less than $200 seemed like a decent deal. If you don't think it's worth being posted I'll take it down

This Ortek looks interesting because it has grey Alps clone switches, identical to my NTC-6251EA. It also has the same Tai-Hao TH-5539-5 keycaps. It also looks like it's got a black mounting plate. My NTC has a black metal mounting plate. Hmmmm. I'm not saying they're teh same keyboard, but ...

It's at an average price: $45 US + $20 US shipping. I'll caution that the weighting on those switches is a tad high.

I did ask the seller to take off a key cap and take a picture of the switch. "Can't do that." I also asked for a pic of the back label and that was also denied. This would be cool if it was genuine Alps. It's probably rubber dome.

lol, whoever bought it is in for a big disappointment. The model F is so much better than a beamspring!
But then again, whatever makes one happy....

I mean I think they each have their advantages. I'd say the model F is a better overall design because it's more durable and takes less effort to maintain. The beamspring switch feels better in my opinion but only after hours and hours of cleaning and lubrication to get them to a point where they're not scratchy and then you have to clean them every so often so they don't get dust in the switch.
