Guuuuys... check out this IBM numpad.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/274496258628?ul_noapp=true

I don't think I had ever seen one like this before.

And I can't imagine how high the price is going to end up being.
Went for almost 2100 bucks. I was expecting it to go high as the only one sold in recent memory, but not over 2 grand

I bid $460 since I have an unsaver to use it with, but holy crap I did not expect it to go that far!

I mean... remember that a NOS Unsaver with APL keycaps went for 2000 USD? If the highest bidder was NOT a troll, then he must be mentally ill in another fashion (or so incredibly rich that two grand is spare change for him or her).

To be fair this was from so long ago I don't really think its relevant anymore, back then these boards were barely known to most people.

I would hope its the second... Honestly I think its cool and all but the price tag is about $1500 above what I think its reasonably worth.

I don't think I'd say they're mentally ill, but I'm surprised how much someone will pay for something that has such limited functionality, since if you really want extra keys that kind of defeats the point of the unsaver. Don't most unsavers not have the port for the extra numpad as well?

That eBay auction went out of my comprehension. How is it technically possible to jump from 550 to 2000?!? The previous bidder set 2000 as his Max bid? and it took just few seconds to overcome it?!? Without mention the winning bid (back in time of 16secs). Would someone wiser than me explain that, thanks

It means someone bid above $2k thinking that no one would have that price but seems 6**** did or something like that

I doubt anyone is going to bite at this price so it's going to sit forever and then the seller might drop the price in small increments.

The wider version of the Wyse/Harris. Untested, but these tend to sell for higher than what they are asking.
I was thinking, "What cool keycaps!" until the second picture: sticky labels.

How about this sweet "rare" Monterey dome with slider. What a bargain!

Or a Mitsumi buckling rubber sleeve over membrane, barely over 100 USD?!

(these people are so delusional..)

Guess I was too stupid so use the search function. I've tried either stackpole or a stackpole clone (green switches in a Ti99 keyboard) and they were serviceable but not pleasant.

In the video I saw from Chyros, the TI had green Stackpole switches and he described them as (IIRC), "Stiff as British Parliament." I recently got Stackpole with yellow switches and they're not stiff. YMMV, I suppose.

There is an orbit "mouse" for $175 shipped on the bay.. very cool vintage pointing device.

Skill level required and dollar level required to get it going both too high for me.

I guessed at "former military use" and I was right.

4" L x 2.3" H x 4" wide. Trackball is 3.328" diameter. That's pretty big.

Check out this bitchin thing. That's a pretty sexy prebuilt right there! Wiki article is ambiguous and incomplete. Would be interested to hear more about the switches and caps.
