The Keyboard Company have "lots in stock", so not necessarily enough. The price for 60 would be 208.80GBP, but I don't know if they'll offer a discount at all. With shipping to you they might be just under the $6 per key puller threshold.

I think Attarian mentioned he could sell keypullers for 1 euro or 2 shipping inclusive in one of his threads. But I can't tell if he would accept such a burden.

It is sufficient to ship them, no need to carry them to me. Also, they are not soo heavy!

My current keyboard is an MK-80 too. I don't think there is an appropriate spacebar available, at least not in pure black. It's a 6 unit spacebar, nearest equivalent is NOIR/SPACENEW, but the middle mount is equidistant between both of the outer mounts for the QPAD, as opposed to being to one side.

I intend to build a new keyboard by sweet talking my University department into letting me use their CNC milling machine(s) (TKL, 'ergo' clear, CNC cut aluminium case), so the following is unlikely to happen, but it is what I have planned in case my build ends up being a write off.

I've ordered NOIR/SPACENEW, and shall salvage some mounts from some old G80-3000 black laser'd keys I have with the help of a pair of sprue clippers. I'll cut out whatever I need to in the middle of the spacebar and stick the mount in place with some polystyrene cement. As long as I don't take the space bar off (much) and there's sufficient mating of the mount and spacebar, it shouldn't be an issue...

While I'm waiting for an update mail with the current totals and pricing:
BE AWARE that SPACENEW got boosted from $4,- to $12,- a piece, and MUSIC went from $12,- to $18,- a pop.

you might want to check your invoices for other surprises.

really hoping these will change when the quote from SP comes in (to 7bit), not sure what happened to have the prices bumped directly (separate from LQFs)

The photographer used a bad camera.
The photographer used a bad camera wrongly.
The photographer photographed great key caps on the wrong keyboard.
The photographer photographed great key caps on a dirty keyboard.

Well that's why I'm waiting for new invoice in my mail... There should be quite a few more orders seeing how people have mentioned they wanted to order, and seeing how I ordered 2x3 myself. I'm very curious to the total music orders!

And yes, so much hassle this all must be (we are talking 50k though).

Would it help pricing if I'd drop round3/music/orange and only take retro/music; still wouldn't take 25 sets myself, but, should get closer to that if 'everybody' jumped over to that..

On the subject of SPACENEW, putting an extra fourth mount half way between the two outer mounts would solve the QPAD issues without impacting on the fit for other keyboards. I would be very, very grateful if you could add this mount! The outer mounts are about 1 mm further out on the QPAD, but this matters not, for the QPAD keyboards use Costar stabilisers which are rather forgiving.

BTW: Someone complained that the space bar was the wrong way round last tme. Now you put the off-center mount to the left.

I don't own such a keyboard. Where is the center mount? left or right?

Oooh, crap, fair point, I've got it the wrong way round. Looking down at the keyboard from above, the off-centre mount is to the right.

The mounting isn't actually used on the QPAD, but the keyboards I've seen around on the net with an off-centre mount always seem to have it off to the right.

EDIT: Not that I'm an expert on off-centre mounting!

It's no Informatik thing. I just identify 0 with the empty set.
