This is for a converter. I'm working on restoring an IBM Model M Battleship (122 Keys), and this will be part of an external converter, if all goes according to plan.

So you're building the convertor into a project box? Where did you find a threaded panel mount DIN5 connector? (I need to convert some F XT boards and putting the convertors into boxes would look nice).

Yes, I am building the converter into a project box (not sure which yet, but likely some large metal electrical boxes I have hanging around).
The threaded panel mount DIN5 connectors are made by Amphenol, and I purchased them from Mouser Electronics (mouser.com), a large electronics parts supplier.
The mouser part number for this or one like it (I bought two styles, one 180 degree pin setting, the other 240 degree) is:
523-T3363-018

Cool, I'll be sure to add this to my list so when I place a mouser order I'll have enough items to qualify for free(?) shipping.Tahoma wrote: ↑21 Mar 2021, 14:54Yes, I am building the converter into a project box (not sure which yet, but likely some large metal electrical boxes I have hanging around).

I hate having to order from 2 different companies around the same time because they have various components only one of them stocks/ sells cheaply.
