How to disable Steam from updating games automatically?

Hello everyone, a problem has been happening since yesterday. When I start my computer Steam starts to update games automatically. And sometimes my PC is hanging a lot. I want to disable Steam from updating games automatically in any way. Can anyone suggest me how to disable Steam from updating games by itself?

You can simply disable the automatic launch of Steam when the operating system starts. Then start Steam when the system is fully loaded, after which you can already look at the game update settings.
