No, this doesn't always follow. The ISO 5000 that I am using also uses the 5 pin DIN connector (the older one). As others have said, the main differences in price are as follows...

Most expensive (the ones which have recently just sold on ebay): ANSI (US layout) without windows keys. Silly Korean collector money...
Image

Then the ANSI with windows keys (webwit's?): 1000 + EUR?
Image

Then the ISO models (various Europe languages, mostly German). This is the model that you currently have. I'd say about 400 EUR, more with the matching 5700 keypad.
Image

And then of course there is the ISO model without windows key... I don't honestly know how much this would go for? Somewhere in the middle.
Image

The million dollar question is: are the ones left in the store ISO or ANSI?

The listing had them as 'used' !!
Either way, it's still cheaper than the NIB IBM M15 clickyboards
had on eBay a while ago !

Ansi is US layout.

ISO or EURO layout has an inverted L enter key and small left shift among other things.
Image

ANSI or American has a straight enter key and a longer left shift; again, among other things.

Did you get them?

And if you did are you doing mates rates for people what want one?

I have to say, be careful if offering these out cheap. There would be a massive temptation to resell.

I wouldn't however ;) never, ever, ever.

You are too close to the keyboard factories (right next to Tipro and Cherry isn't realy far away either)!
The farther away, the better the finds (Portugal, China).

I bet the coolest keyboards we could find are in Antarctica!

I have a datahand professional upgraded to pro, pretty good shape, dvorak option installed, usb adapter, laplander.

The right thumb switch to convert to mouse mode is acting a bit wonky. What would be a fair price for all parties?
