5000 AZERTY Keyboards NOS

There is this Dude in Southern Germany (Mömlingen, Bavaria) that is looking to sell 5000 pieces of New Old Stock AZERTY Keyboards with quality looking keycaps. The layout is quite vintage, protocoll is DEC and the keycaps are not Cherry MX but the switches are discrete and soldered to a PCB.
Unfortunately the seller doesn't really seem to know a lot or care. He doesn't know the Modell name and from the pictures I feel like I know more about the dude than the keyboard: He likes his Maggi spice, drinks Kizilay and therefore likely is from Turkey.

I wanted to bring this up since AZERTY is not sought after in Germany and in case these are interesting donor boards for our fellow Europeans with a lot of time on their hands. Unfortunately these don't seem MX compatible but seem like nice keycaps.

I talked to the guy and he is willing to let the keyboards go for 2500€ (keyboards)+ 600€ (transportaion).

shock aside, these are NMB Space Invaders, no clue on the variety of them but they sure are worth saving.

They look like NOS space invaders to me, so should be quite tasty. Though the layout is a bit ho hum. Condition seems to be great.

Just when I was looking to build a linear SI board, thousands of NOS ones pop up. Shame shipping to the US is so bad. Imagine if something like this happened for some of the higher-valued keyboards in existence, it would be incredible. I look forward to seeing the price of SI crash!

I got more then enough Space at my parents farm.

But the Logistics of 5000NIB Keyboards will be hell and a lot of Work.

I mean a hundred wouldnt be a problem for me, but like 5000, where do you even get so many in the first place. I could probably replace my whole furniture in my house with just the boxes of the boards

Looking at the picture he send you i figured he is turkish, just like me. My guess is he is just looking to sell in bulk the get his 2-3k. For him it is easy money, he doesnt know what opportunity he is missing.

Whoever gets them, for the love of god don't sell them at whatever current market for NOS space invaders is. We have a unique opportunity to crash the market and still make a profit with how cheap these are, lets not waste it!
