I tried the offer process last go-around. Seller countered for 145 saying they already had several offers at 165 but would do me a favor. I bailed out because not only is 145 still too high with $20 shipping on top of that still, but because a misleading seller like that tends to be bad news. Nobody would send an offer for the list price- they would just buy it now.

The seller is RJR in Atlanta. He is an old IBM dealer with a warehouse of goods. Buyer beware, these are not buckling spring boards as others have noted. One sold on eBay for $140.27 on April 18th of this year. I'd value these at $100 to $120.

My somewhat educated opinion, based on buying keyboards for the past three years, is that the order of least to most expensive is GENERALLY black, white, cream/white damped, yellow, salmon, orange, green, SKCC (IBM "Pingmasters," specifically), blue, SKCP (IBM 5576), brown, neon green -- and I'll note that you can argue about "bamboo" and "pine" ratings for some of those and/or the year it was produced and/or other things. There is a lot of overlap with green, Pingmasters, blue, and SKCP. Blues can get much higher than the others ($400+, according to my records), but I think the average prices are pretty similar ($250 - $300). I have no idea where to place Alps switches that are even less common, like amber, because I've just not seen any for sale.

Value also depends on what kind of keyboard it is and condition. I just sold a pretty nicely restored OmniKey 102 with pine white Alps for $150 US.
