Your alps plate spring, F122's, F107, and that omnikey are top tier eye candy. You got any more info on the paintjob for your F107? I find it interesting that you chose a gold highlight for the pen holder.

Thanks. I know Commodore PC keyboard is an unorthodox choice for this thread but there something about it that really turns me on. I love that keyboard.
As far as the F107, it was inspired by the J-01. It's actually got a gold plate and side too. Here's a few more pics.
There are some really excellent gray and black 107s out there but I wanted to do something a little different and distinctive. As far as the paintjob, it's powder coated.

HHKB Fun you say?
For sure. Gotta love that vintage aesthetic.
Especially with a cable made especially to capture that aesthetic.

Nice one! I especially like the telltale LED from Hasu's controller, giving away the modern truth all sneaky-like round the back.

I have that same Commodore PC keyboard and thought about posting in this thread too. It's not exactly the most solid of builds plus I don't like the switches and it's all around not enjoyable typing experience for me. But I keep it around for the looks. And I *do* get it on my desk once or twice a year for a day or max two at time, just to give it a shot.ddrfraser1 wrote: ↑13 May 2021, 18:13

Here's my Olivetti ANK-27 102 N. I just love their angles and the font type. Italians know how to make a looker.

JP had it in the background but really the symbolics really needs to stand alone (fyi not mine, living vicariously through JP)

You know you are an IT gentleman of a certain age when you find this old gal sexy. And yes I still own it, dont judge me!
Many mistake her for an American but she is pure Japanese, if you can get her to take off her keys you will see she has a majestic set of Alps SKCC Tall Cream switches.

These are my favorite boards that I own. That Focus 2001 was actually the first keyboard I ever owned, my dad hooked it up to my 386 when I was a kid and It's a really nice keyboard, Pine White Alps! I use an Omnikey at my 386 and 486 now, I really love those things. The KB-5161 I use at my Pentium, the Model M at the Windows 98 PC, and the M0115 at the main PC

Sweet little HHKB attack squadron. I must admit I think the stock (plus PFU add on Control and Esc) looks the most stylish, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still envy you.

This is fantastic. I have one of these modules, hopefully this is the inspiration I need to sort out a case for it.
