Luckily(?) this doesn't really seem to be the case. Those caps are holding on for dear life, ready to pull the stem out instead letting go.
I don't think you want any springs getting lost down there though.

You’d be surprised. They can be real buggers to pull off when you don’t know / have forgotten how. Yet they do come off quite often in shipping.
Someone did a video of the particular technique they need for extraction a few years back. No luck finding it just now though. It’s *different*

Thomas had a video about it. The technique is that you pry the key up from an angle from the left or right sides instead of pulling straight up. This is the same technique as for NEC oval switches. Not sure how you do it for the big ass enter key though.Muirium wrote: ↑28 May 2021, 15:16You’d be surprised. They can be real buggers to pull off when you don’t know / have forgotten how. Check out wich keyboards you got!
The trading season has started. until next week sunday evening you can freely exchange your keyboards with other users.
If you have come to an agreement, both parties must send me their original numbers with names and the new numbers with names. Only then will a trade be accepted by me.
If someone wants to transfer his keyboards completely to someone else, I need the confirmation of the seller that he has received the payment and the confirmation of the buyer that he has paid. make sure that your numbers add up correctly. if there are any errors, you must report them to me.
Trading: pm me with
your old numbers / tradingparter name / your new numbers

I got a bit lost in the thread. Is this the time where those who didn't participate in the group buy can purchase individual boards from those who did?
I'd be interested in one ISO QWERTZ keyboard, if that's an option. (German layout maybe?)

I guess there will be no more trades. I will confirm the last trades tomorrow.
I will not accept any more trades, the list will be finalised and posted here.
I won't even go to velbert until 21.06 because my bachelor thesis is more important.
Hopefully, in the meantime, you will all have worked out your shipping methods and costs.
Thank you for your patience.
Keep an eye out for news here in this thread.
