I have about 5 templates/keyboard manuals that go to various IBM keyboards. I don't think these are available online but I wanted to do an interest check before I scanned them all in.
Shown are:
1. German 3178 manual that slides into the 3178 "blue switch" keyboard
2. textpack 4 template for displaywriter keyboards
3. 3278 maintenance manual that goes in the flap on 3276, 3278, 3279 keyboards, for troubleshooting steps on a 3278 terminal
4. textpack 6 template for displaywriter keyboards
5 keyboard template (unfortunately I only have the one card) for 5251 keyboards
6. keyboard template for 5280 "beamfoot" keyboards.
If you're interested, reply with the templates you'd be interested in and I'll post a PDF scan of it in 600dpi

FYI: if no one is immediately interested, but someone finds this years later, the offer will still stand.
Not pictured, but I also have the displaywriter system information card, that gets glued onto the keyboard.

I'll say "thanks" in advance! If I ever have a beamspring, this would be a good resource.

I also have the word perfect template for Model F and the template that goes around the Model M F keys to add F13-F24 if you want, but those are pretty common I think.

Sounds good! Here ya go. Just keep in mind that the 5280 template card is 7mm longer on the Y axis.
The real life measurements of each card are:
5280 - X= 28mm Y= 4.5mm Z= approx. 2μm
5250 - X= 28mm Y= 3.8mm Z= approx. 1μm
I've also included a mostly blank 5280 card for you in the scan in case it helps with scaling - it's the rightmost card. However the 5280 cards wont fit in the 5251 keyboard template notch at their current size, they'll need to be photoshopped down by 7mm.
Additionally the sysadmin who ran the system/34 I got the 5250 template from had the following penciled in as user defined S/34 commands:
1 Search
2 Single Record Replace
4 Load DE/RPG Tabs
5 Lower Case
8 Copy Data
9 Move Data
10 Delete Lines
11 Set Tabs
12 Add Records
14 Global Replace
20 Shift Data Over 80
Probably not helpful to you if you're looking to print your own command shortcuts, but it might be helpful if you're looking to create something that would be realistic to the time.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I would absolutely love scans for any and all of the templates, especially the 5251 templates. I would really like to get a definite answer of the font used on the keys. I believe it's a Helvetica variant, but the scans would allow for a full transcription.
