Well, I've stumbled upon this channel: The Charismatic Voice. She, an opera singer, apparently knew next to nothing about metal until people started pitching Nightwish to her last year, and it's led to this recent complete and utter conversion:

For me, this is the LotR soundtrack. Well, along with Blind Guardian. But most of this album is actually directly based on [translated] songs from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or The Silmarilion… except perhaps one (Battle for Gondor) that I couldn't find anywhere.
