Can you post a picture of the keycap mount? Guessing more info is on the PCB of the board if you happen to take it apart.
Looks very interesting, haven't seen these before but looks kinda Fujitsu-ish to me
Edit: didn't see that there is already a keycap in the picture my bad

Hmm, aren't there any labels/numbers on the case or PCB?79f0167 wrote: ↑02 Oct 2021, 23:59Thanks, but i couldn't get any info from pcbLalaland124 wrote: ↑02 Oct 2021, 16:14Can you post a picture of the keycap mount? Guessing more info is on the PCB of the board if you happen to take it apart.

So by running the numbers and doing a very rough translation of the stickers you can find this:
1) Fukuchiyama Telegraph and Telephone Bureau = linked to a company called Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, which we know as Nippon Electric (NEC)
2) the KKBU- number seems familiar, I could be totally wrong but reminds me of some Mitsumi boards, which wouldn't make sense if the boards from NEC I guess?

I'll disassemble and get more

that's an NEC switch, don't remember the name of it (and it doesn't appear to be on the wiki) should have caps compatible with other NEC switches as well as ALPS SKFR switches

Does this bottom row layout (1.75u control and alt, 9u space bar, then 1.75u alt and control, no gaps at all) suggest anything about the likely switches? I think the rest of the board is “normal” layout, ie like a Model M, not XT or AT. I forget the right term for that.

The first and only thing that I can think of is the NEC APC-H412, which would be the NEC blue ovals but I'm not sure this is it. The contour (is that even remotely the right word for this?) on the case below the caps looks sharper than on the NEC, but it might be the lighting. Would need more of the image to tell for sure.Palatino wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 10:2203C1127E-AD27-4A6C-BBED-221B90E9145F.jpeg

This layout is also on the Qtronix QX201, which usually has either MX blue or SKCM blue, as far as I know.Palatino wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 10:2203C1127E-AD27-4A6C-BBED-221B90E9145F.jpeg

Thank you - QX201 is a pretty exact fit in looks. I’ve bought it now, so hopefully it’s the right sort of blue4_404 wrote: ↑07 Oct 2021, 01:04This layout is also on the Qtronix QX201, which usually has either MX blue or SKCM blue, as far as I know.Palatino wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 10:2203C1127E-AD27-4A6C-BBED-221B90E9145F.jpeg

That arrow cluster makes me feel queasy just looking at it. Nice grey lettering, though. Are you in a position to buy it and discover what the switch really is?

I am, but I am still undecided whether or not I should. The board is pretty unique and probably rare, but if it's not enjoyable to use ...
Yeah, the arrow cluster is something else

I feel you
Just bought the board, it looks fancy enough and the seller gave me a price cut. 30 bucks including shipping is not too bad for an interesting board.
