Also: how is the USB side of the Pro Micro handled? Hacking up an internal cable?

Yes, it's done by moving the rj9 port from the original pcb to this, then soldering a snipped micro usb cable from the pro micro to the pcb.

You can crimp an rj9 port onto most usb cables.

yes, quotes on the site for eu shipping are based on size and expected weights of the boxes i'll be buying. i will refund any shipping overages if they're statistically significant
