I got a Pro2 with a similar problem recently. The mouse switch lever was broken but that was an easily fixed hardware problem. I got it for EUR 350. I think I got a pretty good deal. Depending on how fixable the problem with your switch is I would say something in the same range would be fair.
Ah, I just saw you put it up on ebay. Well, I assume you're going to get a better price there. People with serious RSI are going to pay much more for it than curious collectors.

Post pictures too if needed.
The answers should be honest and based on experience, not greedy intentions. I keep a personal database of average board prices across eBay and various other places and might be able to help. Otherwise - any user if course free to help out, as long as you keep rule one in mind! No "I'll take it off you for ___" type of posts. Price checks only, no deals in it his thread.
hi everyone~

Thanks for the reply Icarium. I suspect you are right. 350 euros strikes me as a fantastic deal. I bought it to deal with RSI, and though the idea is brilliant, the lacking reliability kind of makes it a bad solution in the long term. I really hope someone resurrects the idea at some point.
Anyway, this is a super cool forum, input devices++.

Another ANSI MX5000 has appeared from the same seller. I wonder if anyone will be stupid enough to pull the trigger at that price...

If you're patient enough I'm sure you'd be able to find someone who would trade you an 88 for your 87, but if you just want to sell it now, I'd say you could get $200-230 for it, depending on it's condition.

Just by "curiosity", what would be the value of my Model M tenkeyless ( i'm not selling any of them )
Those two are doubleshot, but i also have "single shot" , and others double shot too, but it's not to have a perfect estimation but just a rough price.
Thanks

hey everyone, how goes it? love the site!
had no idea there was a community with such dedication about; there was me thinking i was the only one!
so, anyhow, i recently discovered an old goupil keyboard in my attic, and was curious to know how much it'd be worth, were i to sell it. seeing as i already have a keyboard that i'm crazy about, i have no need for it, and i don't really have the time to refurbish it so i can use it as a spare. having said that, it'd be a crazy waste to just throw such a groovy antique away; without further ado, here are the details from the label on the back :
---------------
article no : g81-1236
keyboard : *16302072* G
serial no : 8144736453*/c03
made in west germany
-------------------
the casing is a dark grey colour,
it has the regular qwerty layout [sans the windows key, though i guess you already know that],
there are two sets of colours for the keys, a cream and a kind of light brown.
overall the keyboard is in good nick, no yellowing to speak of,
the alphabet keys all have translucent cyrillic language replacement stickers on them [which can be easily removed]
the cable is one of those old curly styles from the 80s,
and the connector is the old 5-pin din [y'know, the old AT connector, pre-ps/2, though it has an AT-ps/2 converter on it].
-------------
any help you could give would be very much appreciated, as i very little knowledge about older models [even with google as a friend!]
photos can be added at request
thanks again!

Just click 'attach/browse/upload' to attach a pic to your post, don't make it a huge one and all should be good (i.e. common sense prevails here)mikejg wrote:ah! ok, it's : g81-1236 HCR/00 .

I use 640x480 unless there is pic detail that is needed and then I use 800x1200. JPEG unless it's a screenshot.
At GH at thousands of pics I was a little over 1G, or a dollar of SSD space.

But it's only a G81.

Normal double shots, but with Cyrillic legends.
Sorry, Just was after a Goupil case with double shots.
