HHKBs are great, I hope finding an affordable JIS one day, but is there no love for some bigger layouts, f.e. 90/96%?

Should give me enough for two HHKB dome swaps when I put my spare domes to use as well!

I'll probably either sell it on through DT, or use it as a work keyboard - something I keep saying to myself as an excuse to buy a keyboard but it never seems to happen...

Mu that HHKB of yours has got to be closer to 60g now after the amount you type on it lad.

Aye, the new HHKB is definitely a fair bit lighter than my 2014 original. I notice instantly when switching between the two, but I kinda like them both, actually. All that use has not improved it or made it worse, just distinct.

Amusingly, the heaviest key on my workhorse is Z, and the lightest one is A. Doesn’t seem to be a direct 1:1 wear thing. I mean, I use Undo a lot but not that much.

Yeh uneven wear is something I've noticed as well. On my Pro 1 the right shift, tilde, and backslash are significantly lighter than the rest of the keys. Which is odd when you consider the amount of times someone working in IT such as myself uses the backslash key when typing UNC paths.
I wish there was an explanation for things like this. Perhaps not all domes were made equal.

I'm sure some people working with excel would be screaming at you for that comment, but yes, full size topre boards are wonderful for dome harvesting. And a great way of getting rid of my ever growing collection of 45g domes!

Right now, I'm all good for HHKBs. The Pro 2, with Hasu's Bluetooth on board, is the sweet spot for me.

What happens when you press contradictory direction keys on both of those navigation pads? Does the keyboard stop work to hold a plenary session to determine which work group to assign to the project?
