You could wait a while until it’s four zeros I guess. We used to whine when they were a couple of hundred when I got mine.
From what I’ve seen: restoration doesn’t add much value to these as the audience is all us nerds who’d rather do it properly for ourselves. APL caps gets you extra but not much else.

Alright. I'll try to sell it locally for 1500, and if not then I'll sit on it I suppose.Muirium wrote: ↑11 Aug 2022, 11:42You could wait a while until it’s four zeros I guess. We used to whine when they were a couple of hundred when I got mine.

Looks like a tasty Beamspring. The target price for those these days is: Loads.
What are those two things taped to it, I wonder?

+ Yugoslavian Layout
+ IBM colored caps (came with the board)
+ Manufactured Summer of 1985
+ Plastic signs no signs of cracking
+ Bottom case has a bit of discoloration and a few scuffs

A homemade Micro Switch based keyboard?
If this one was also built by your dad, that’s likely worth a fair bit to you personally; depending on his handiwork!

One sold in Germany last week for 1200EUR. I think one or two others sold for a fair bit more a while ago, but the listings have disappeared.hammelgammler wrote: ↑07 Sep 2022, 22:58Just to get an idea, for how much goes a Model F104 Unsaver right now?

Hello! I want to sell this keyboard which originates from Gavilan SC laptop/PC. There is little information about this thing, but swtiches seems to be foam-and foil ones. I obviously can't test the keyboard and I don't want to damage it by modding it for modern PC. One keycap is missing. I don't know what price to put on this thing, there is only one full Gavilan on ebay with unbelievable price tag and that's all. Feel free to help with estimating price.

Those are NEC Blue Ovals. Quite well regarded, though I've never had one myself. Think the going rate is about 100.

Not very useful at all. Don’t trash them, they look too good and Alps killers go to hell, but bundle them free with something else.
Sad trombone. It uses a variation of Alps mount in that it features a peg that fits inside the larger peg in the keycap (which limits the available keycaps that fit it).
