Can you place the membrane keyboards above a heat map sensor? Nobody would know if the keypresses came from the keyboard or the heat map sensor. These sensors can be a standalone device or a smartphone accessory (https://www.flir.ca/products/flir-one-gen-3/). For an art installation, the accuracy is not that important as compared to the artistic intent.

accuracy is not that important, I agree. However I don't see exactly how heat map sensor can cover area of a size of a room. Even if I raise floor level to 1m, it still would be impossible to capture anything larger than let's say.. 1sq m ?xxhellfirexx wrote: ↑30 Aug 2022, 21:53Can you place the membrane keyboards above a heat map sensor? hello
me again...
so I've taken a road of alibaba keyboards and talked days and hours with different manufacturers.
asked them to do the tests and record on video to see if it's really N-key rollover.
here is one of them
http://www.seventy75five.com/private/mi ... f503e1.mp4
finally ordered two keyboards for testing, which I've received today.
however...
when I plug them in Win or OSX - I still get the same 6-KRO with any of my tests...
I will contact them, when they wake up.. but what am I doing wrong ?
On their video you can see it registers many keys at once.
Thanks
M

Indeed! Artfully done.
The RGB backlighting, which typically looks garish on a desk, has a waving, rippling effect when used as a floor, along with the contours of the caps.
