Hey all really struggling to figure out what this is. https://imgur.com/a/yk9pz7B
My only thought is I don't think I have ever seen a keycap with a Spade on it.
Cheers in advance.
I have only found one similar keyboard. But some of the buttons are different.

Good morning people of the keebs, I have come across a Unicomp 122-key terminal keyboard (no lock lights) with PS/2 connector from 1999, no info from the seller until now, no luck in searching part number on the label.
Any clue if this could be a BS board? Or just a big rubber dome?

Got some info back from the seller, it doesn't click :( (I mean, the keyboard, not the seller him/herself ;) )

I thought it was at first but the line feed key below the arrow cluster and the stepped keys made me pause. It definately looks like the aforementioned falco board, I bought it any way so I guess we will find out in a few days.

I can confirm it is a Falco board with Hosiden linear switches, unfortunately a couple of the switches got broken in transport.

A sys req key and a Line Feed key? I thought Sys Req was for PC's and Line Feed was for mainframe terminals, like EBCDIC, where line feed and carriage return are separate codes.

\n and \r remain different codes, on non-Microsoft platforms. :geek:

How about a PC used as a mainframe terminal? Here's a photo of the other Monterey K9 on my list (not mine). The "AX" in the model number is almost certainly for "AT/XT", in other words for a PC, but with a DEC layout to be used as a terminal. K9 is the model number, which was apparently part of Monterey's earlier numbering system before the Kxxx numbers came out.

Second photo is to tie the gray serial/model number label (different model, same label style) to Monterey.

Keyboard on EBay. Looks like there had been a trackball installed in it.
The pink switch looks like Rafi RS 76 M.
Keycaps remind a little bit of the Rafi DT01/02.

I'm having a hard time finding info on the WYSE 724 keyboard, does anyone have any info for a newbie, like myself? I have several of these and I'm wondering what something like this would be worth. How can they be tested to see if they work or not?

They're rubberdomes. Pretty much worthless, I'm sorry to say.

The “NICE” may be the even more egregious lie.

If it really is the same guy selling this on ebay, he’s got a brass neck for sure. Smart choice omitting those switch pics! Maybe someone can request them on eBay for a ruse?

surprising response from the seller...
"It has a Vecmar sticker on it. On their site it shows both numbers so I put both up. The keyboard came from a box that has nothing else but 840358-01"

is it a 840358-01? I vaguely remember the yellow arrow keys meaning something.

It has MX switches, I can tell you that much. Does the specific P/N matter to you?

justin4232000

There were so many of the Wyse keyboards, I can't keep the combinations straight. I was more concerned it was a dome 9 series instead of a mechanical 8-series..
