Hello,
I'm trimming down my collection so up for sale is my KB106DE.
This board was my daily for a while before spending the majority of the past few years in storage. Apart for some dust and slight uv yellowing it's in fairly good shape. There is some minor wear where you'd rest your left palm but it is hardly noticable. Overall not perfect, but pretty good, especially for an old topre board that was used in a Japanese data entry office for a decade or so.
I am not entirely sure how to price this even after input from some members. Feel free to comment or correct me on my pricepoint, wether you think its absurdly high or too low. I'm tentatively asking $600 USD. I am more than happy to accept offers with some info backing them up. It'll be shipping out of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Cheers

To give you an idea of pricing - there's two of these on Japan Yahoo at the moment - here is one with a buy it now

Yours is in a bit better shape, so you can afford to drive up the price a fair bit. Though I don't know if 1000 would tempt enough people? Either way, gorgeous board!

Thanks for the input. I didn't realize these were popping up as much. Most of my interest was formed years ago when they were unobtanium. I looked around more and noticed one sold for $600 yesterday on mechmarket, go figure. It seemed to be in worse shape though. I guess that's the new offer benchmark.

Okay, asymptotically closer now. The most expensive keyboard I’ve ever bought was under half that much, and I swore a compact with the !deity not to exceed that ever again, or else.
Ebay? They have that in Canada, right?

The last nisshos to have sold on /r/ mechmarket were $960, $945 and most recently $600. If you are actually interested in the board feel free to make me an offer after some sound dd stock analysis following the downwards trend Can't really help you with your trouble and strife sadly.Muirium wrote: ↑07 Jul 2023, 22:51Okay, asymptotically closer now. Quite right, too!
As a man of the market, I would suggest just trying it there. I’d be as protective if I were selling my beamspring or Kishsaver, perish the thought! DT’s better for some things (vintage teardowns, esoteric mods, programming converters) than others (WTS and especially WTBs). You want to be where the Fry from Futurama gif is at, and his corresponding mindset: can’t think, buying!

Is this board still available?
