This is part of my keyboard collection, some are restored, some are still dirty, some are modded with usb interface, and I wanted to share it with you.
Nada mal. Cuántas eñes, oyes (i ces trencadas, noi). :-)

I'd like to ask for close-up pictures of the F/XT, F/AT and M0110A keyboards — it's for es-ES documentation purposes.
(Sempre procure d'aconseguir ISO/ES)

The ibm's are all spanish version, but the bigfoot is an italian one.

There is 2 model F AT, one unmodified (and still dirty) and there is a ISO modded one, also usb with custom color keycaps. I want to do another mod and change the switch for the right long Uppercase key and use the one with "code" label from old ibm printers, they are compatible but that key uses a different stem for the switch so I need to move that switch to the right, and reprogram the microcontroller

I also have a 5251 Ibm keyboard, but it's too big for an ikea shelf.

Some more interesting boards i recently got and fooled around with:
Wyse pce which i bought already outfitted with box jades. Desoldered original controller, soldered in stm32 blackpill, and managed to power it through the original port, with a matching cable:

old ATA hard drive ribbons make for great patch wires:

Another board: cheap g80-1800 that i converted to wkl layout with custom mounting plates and costar stabilizers. I already did it once but decided to have another go at it, this time with box pink :D

While working on the wyse, i noticed maybe an obvious but interesting detail, the whole lock light assembly is basically just a plastic cover, that clips into the mounting plate. The plate actually has cutouts under it, which are exactly 14x14mm squares, same as for switches. And spaced out like switches. Also the top cover has a hole that would exactly fit extra three keys here instead of the lock light plastic cover. Is it possible that this keyboard was ever spotted in a version with three extra keys there? It definitely is designed to be possible.

gifted to me during dt secret santa, modified with some nice, thick ds alps keycaps. those white alps clones really sing in that flimsy plastic chassis. I love it !

Travel keyboards can be front line classics, too.

I like the sneaky, contour-hugging cable. Thought it was working wirelessly for a moment there!

I actually thought about making it wireless (and filling the case with some plasticine or something similiar);
but I decided against it. Will do that once I dont depend on the board working again the next monday :D
Love the DT+ (front) labeled keycap on the right.

I’m always thinking about making wired boards wireless, thanks to Hasu so revolutionising my HHKBs. I put in so much time on these guys because of how convenient and compelling they are. My Realforce could sorely need some of that love, but the great big beige USB A cable on it (uncoiled and hanging) ruins the magic. A shame, because I really like its feel, too.

My sub-TKL boards are all crying out for Bluetooth. If but I were more able…

After converting my cherry touchboard to bluetooth i honestly think i would much rather do it with a simple usb plug radio reciever/transmitter, bluetooth is honestly a pain in the ass. (because of the amount of different standards bluetooth has, and drivers, also the range is not too great..) Also you are limited to a small choice of dev boards to use for these projects if you want bluetooth

Pretty! Albeit, imo the blue bottom row mods don't really match the rest of the case visually ...

Like I said: I'd rather have a second GMK patch set so I could rock legit beige, but the caps I do have are, aye, wrong in an interesting way. ;)

I really like those box white V2 switches. Also, have You seen the complementary numpad they offer for this keyboard now with a built in calculator? it looks great :D and has a backspace key!

Hi Everybody! I mostly use my own homemade Cherry MX "junkboards," but today I did get this Litton Data Systems 75% from 1997ish, consisting of an Alphameric sealed electrocapacitive(?) dome keyboard module in a powder-coated sheet-steel case. Bottom out is pretty mushy, but otherwise not bad!
  • Keycaps are dye-sub PBT with Keytronic stems and basically Cherry profile. Anybody know if there's a place to source spherical caps with these stems?
  • 1.7kg/3pounds
  • Layout is very close to a modern 75% but with 7u spacebar and a few other differences..
  • Full NKRO

I think this was a Mercari find, not sure if it was posted before. IIRC was just as cheap as any other normal M. Keytronics or something "file to fit" type job from what I can see. Fairly well done.

Glad to see this forum is still a thing.

On todays east bloc exhibit we have the MERA ELZAB 7940, manufactured in 1978, in Zabrze, south west Poland:

The keycaps are 1970s thick double shot, im assuming ABS, however the manufacturing process leaves a lot to be desired, with some keycaps being perfectly smooth and sharp legends, while others arent properly filled at all. some legends are yellow, most are white, the choice seems pretty arbitrary, likewise with the shade of colour of the keycaps themselves, some are a deep blue, some are aquamarine:

The switches themselves are M-24-112 magnetic reed switches, manufactured by Unitra Dolam in Wrocław/Breslau, not much too them other than the enclosed housing, four rails which are ungodly bindy, the spring, the magnet and the reed switch itself:
