Hello.
I got a Round 1 Beam Spring keyboard from Model F Keyboards together with a solenoid motor and driver.
It seems that the keyboard controller that came installed with the keyboard has the pins that the driver should connect to but the pins have wires soldered to them. The wires are coming from the keyboard PCB. Therefore, there does not seem to be a way to connect the driver the easy way, I take it?
A photo of the keyboard controller:
A photo of the Solenoid driver and its cable:
Is there still a way to connect it? Or do I need to solder the wires of the driver? Is there a pin layout somewhere? Or do I just get a different keyboard controller altogether?
I am very new to this stuff, so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
Thank you.

I strongly recommend going through the manual and setup guide fully, step by step before proceeding so that nothing is damaged.
For the Round 1 B104 beam spring and Round 1 F104 boards you need to desolder the wires on the 6 pin right angled extension header to add the external solenoid (since the solenoid does not fit in the case) - please follow the Q&A topic here for more details: https://www.modelfkeyboards.com/questio ... ck-lights/
