Not really sure where to post this, but I'm trying to 3D print a button for the lofree touch mouse. This mouse uses keycaps for buttons, though they are specific to this mouse, not standard keycaps. The left mouse button has two 'switches' (actually a single switch with 2 mounting posts) that the keycap mounts to. The problem is that my 3d printed keycap seems to keep the rear 'switch' pushed down.
I've tried several iterations, but all have the same problem. I think my button is pretty close to the original, though it is difficult to measure angles, lengths etc of the parts making up the underside of the original button. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be / what I might need to change to prevent the button sticking?

Hello,
I would print the keycap splitted in the middle (with a gap). Install the two parts and check for the (potential) angle between the two top parts. This will indicate if there are adjustments to be made in your design.

Thanks very much, thats a good suggestion! I tried it, and both halves then clicked fine, but the tops of the two halves didn't line up. So hopefully I can make some adjustments and get a working button.idollar wrote: 03 Mar 2025, 13:51 Hello,
