Yep, and that is a perfect summation of why I don't bother with geekhack anymore. Not only did they delete the actual pointers to find ripster elsewhere, but they condescendingly CLOSED *my* thread in their Neu Procrustean Way. That place only got worse in my absence. So be it. ...and I think that Soarer was referring to some comments by that 6th Grade gang, lead by one of iMav's babysitters, that threatened to boot me out of the Phantom GB and blacklist me from their GBs, like they are the only ones who run GBs. I wrote my piece, and let it drop, so I assumed that they had moved on to bully someone else, but who knows... I still haven't received my Phantom stuff, nor a refund. Last I checked though, fraud was a criminal offense, so I expect they'll do the right thing eventually.

For the record, Biniaris and litster got a stick up their collective butt, and decided to take it out on me (It seems there were a few other hotheads around too, but at least one of them made nice with me and we even did a GB transaction together). The best I can tell from litster's posturing is that he took GREAT OFFENSE at my contention in a couple of totally unrelated threads that ~ and \ should be colored to match all the other keys which surround the alphanumeric and symbol keys; then they both took GREAT OFFENSE that I kept adding to my Phantom order rather than just placing one order and shutting the fuck up (meanwhile, they double billed me and were brusque about THEIR error, never apologizing or even admitting error); then they both took GREAT OFFENSE to my tongue in cheek comment "have we been robbed?! " in a thread where someone else was repeatedly asking, without any response, for assurance that the boys were going to fulfill some promise or other pertaining to another sale. Soarer pointed out to them that they totally overreacted, but to no avail. As soon as they leapt to the keyboard to respond to my comment (despite not having responded to the poor guy who had been PMing and posting fruitlessly) I apologized for my phraseology, deleted my original "have we been robbed?! " post, but they were pit bulls at a shark frenzy--mix that metaphor and drink it! ;-P

But, whatever guys... that was another time, another place. The captain abides. Now, let's go bowling.

It was funny, but the meme aspect was lost on me. I *assume* that the double entendre of Stevie Wonder (ripster's other moniker at geekhack) singing "I never dreamed you'd leave in summer," (2012 summer being the time ripster was kicked out of geekhack) wasn't SO obtuse that y'all didn't get it.
