Any way to contact the Brown Brothers? I would be happy to write some actual keyboard related blog posts, stuff that would bring in actual clicks rather than AI slop

Ironic that this kind of thing would happen to a community so focused on preserving great stuff.
There’s no shortage of people here who would do a great job running the forum and keep a good thing going.

It looks like the "View quoted post" button recently changed to use Font Awesome.
See this quote for example.
https://web.archive.org/web/20250115054 ... bc#p521801
The javascript assets version went from 45 to 52.
https://web.archive.org/web/20250115054 ... version=45
assets/javascript/core.js?assets_version=52
In doing a text diff of these two files, there is a change to the CAPTCHA code. I wonder if registration will be fixed soon.
Are there any other changes people noticed?

@leadsquad registered less than 48 hours ago so unless they're someone from BBM doing a manual registration on the server, registration might be working now.
Not like that or even repairing the wiki is going to change much however.

For anyone wondering why this site was down (assuming it comes up again) or you're one of the administrators :

If you're going to use DNS servers for your domain which themselves have hostnames which are part of the same domain, you will need to configure the glue records for them in your domain registrar or this won't work .....

The wiki login uses this extension, the bug should be related to that:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:PHPBB_Auth
As it gives a blank page when logged in, there's probably a PHP error which can be found in the PHP error log.

I missed all the drama! This is indeed sad, i am happy to host an alternative or at the very least archive the board.

None of this surprises me. The cookie permissions I had to dismiss on my way in here to show off about my Ursa set was eyebrow raising. I had to laugh!

Sad story. I too just learned about the new owner.
Until few years ago I was quite active on GH. Back then I was aware of DT but just felt it was a bit of the same so I staid faithful to GH.
A couples of weeks ago after the said few years of absence. I decided to have a peek at GH to see how it was doing. Yikes. that place is dead.
So I came back to DT... Not doing much better.
I guess those kind of nerd discussions have now moved to other platforms.
Oh well, time to move on.
My collection is actively collecting dust and I'm not getting any younger. PM me here or on GH if you find something in there that interest you: Ducky x2 (9008G2 Pro PBT/MX Green and Mini MX Red), Matias x2 (QP and Mini QP Dampened ALPS), Topre RealForce x4 (87U 55g/Digilog case, 103U-UW & 104UG High-Profile x2), Filco Majestouch x2 (TKL MX Blue & V2 AI 104 MX Blue), IBM-M x2 (BS & RD), Unicomp-M x5 (BS black on black x2, BS Ivory x2, QT Ultra-Classic), Deck x4 (Legend MX Black & MX Clear, Hassium & Francium w/ MX Brown), DAS III (MX Blue), KBT Pure Pro 60% (MX Red), NMB-RT8256CW+ x2 (black space invader), XArmor U9BL-S (MX Brown) given for free to someone I hate, CM X2 (Trigger/MX Green + Storm TKL/NovaTouch), TVS GOLD (MX Blue) and a many many more (NMB, DELL, MS, ATT, KeyTronic, Etc...)

I might be after a full-size Realforce now, as long as it's ANSI. Say, where in the world are you? Nowhere near Scotland, right?BucklingSpring wrote: 12 Dec 2025, 01:39 Topre RealForce x4 (87U 55g/Digilog case, 103U-UW & 104UG High-Profile x2)

ANSI 104 White and 2x 103 dark grey high-profile with taller then usual keycaps, I'm in Canada. Are you on GH? The new DT owners with their great wisdom do not allow me to PM you.Muirium wrote: 12 Dec 2025, 16:00I might be after a full-size Realforce now, as long as it's ANSI. Say, where in the world are you?
