You don't have permission to access this resource.
Just so everyone knows the trick I’m using when hit by these dumb, dumb, dummmb server errors:
Muirium wrote: Today, 17:50 You can post, btw. Let me repeat myself:

When you see the error: delete the &sid=12345678901234567890 section of the url. Then reload the page.

Usually everything after &sid= can go. It's just broken tracking garbage.
Weirdly, just opening a page in a different tab will also work, and will stick. Command click (or control click I guess) a link in the forum and find out.

Is this something we users should be forced to do? No.
Does it work, though? Yes. :P

A real fix can only be applied by the site owner.

I see no "&sid=" section in the URL when I try to write a PM.

I just tried it. (Safari on Mac and iOS.) Here's the url the "error" screen had:

ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&action=post&s ... 38bcdc103c

Still got Sid. See how long it is! But deleting it didn’t fix the PM. The message text and recipient are blank instead. Tried again and hit the same error.

So yes, PMs in particular appear to be irretrievably broken.
