So I did some search on the forums for this information, but I have a hard time finding it. How do you mod the Unicomp replacement "frame" (101-key plastic barrel plate "frame") to fit an old (1985/86) Model M case? I have some tools including a rotary tool. This is the "frame" with the drainage channels. The old case does not have the drainage channels.
This part is listed on Unicomp's website as "Replacement Cover Sets & Frames, Style: FR101" and arrived in the mail, so it is a new part that is still being made, not a vintage/new-old-stock part.
Sincere gratitude for your help.

You cut off the drainage bits at the front of the frame, which would be fairly obvious if you did a 'what doesn't fit' consideration of the two parts. I actually have an IBM or Lexmark rebuilt M122 where they apparently did this at the factory. I'd use a dremel, but some tin snips would probably do it.
