IMPORTANT for ibm ssk:

just be careful with the Chinese guys, a few months ago one of my friends bought an ibm ssk and surprise surprise the inside part # did not match the shell part #. The Chines rebuild these boards. So before selling these boards as unmodified boards, make sure to verify this.

I would recommend a thorough study of the pictures (provided they at all show what is on offer).

The item listed last bud one under "Old Cherry Stuff" is by no means a G80-3006 SCF, which would have sub dyed keycaps and French layout.
What we see here is the genuine case of a G81-3006 SCF (as the French legends of the LED sticker show), but with obviously lasered keycaps (see the positioning lines on the F and J keycaps) in German layout, and even that is not correct (Y and W keycaps swatched, but both having the correct profile for the position they now hold on this board).

Price shipped to Europe would be around 65 EUR (+ possible customs fees).
Definitely not worth even a fraction of that.

The layout of the G80-1192 HAF is another Frankenstein mix.
The seller obviously does not know that on French keyboards, M is not on the lower row, but on the home row (right of L). And he has QWERTY instead of AZERTY.

Can anyone confirm this for a fact? I just checked two of my SSK's. Both have different part numbers which I find logical since these are different parts!

For example:
#1 case: 1397681 F8
#1 metal plate: 1397682 F8

#2 case: 1391472 F2
#2 metal plate: 1390360 F2

It's impossible to tell as there is no picture of the metal plate and the existing pictures are low-res so you can't really tell if any keys have been swapped. At first glance it looks OK. However, you should take into consideration that the pictures on taobao are often symbolic and do not neccessarily represent the actual item for sale.

I will take a few days before deciding whether to order the IBM SSK... considering the warning that it could be modified.

Anyone knows how well these keys will fit onto a Noppoo choc pro keyboard? I think the noppoo keycaps have varying and odd heights.

Yes, but it is without tracking and take 10days (2nd class air mail).. It wold cost only few euros.. And I can't see the rate in the internet, I only know sending to Germany for 1 kg goods is cost only 5 eur

I don't know why the shipping from here is so fucking expensive, if I going to use dhl, ups, fedex, etc... They cost me 58 euro(at least), for 1 kg, don't ask me why, because I don't know also....
