I've really been enjoying it. It's nice to be able to natively mount ISOs and the new task manager and explorer are fantastic. I have a partition for all of my files that I like to hold on to so I usually end up reinstalling my OS every few months, so I've been using it as my main OS since the dev preview came out. The start menu isn't as bad as people say it is and imo searching has become a lot faster which makes me consider it as an improvement. The theme isn't as gaudy, some apps like weather can be cool if you have the lockscreen up frequently enough, and a bunch of other things make it impossible for me to go back to 7 now

Edit: I also haven't run into any issues besides my mobo software giving me a bluescreen (which was kind of a big deal) with the dev preview. I haven't tried it since, but several games that used to crash at launch on 7 don't on here so yeah.

I've been trying out Windows 8 for about a week. It is significantly less awful than I expected it to be. Metro can go to hell, though.
